Gateway Organisation Limited wish to recruit: 

Psychologist – (Specialising in either Clinical, Educational or Forensic Psychology)

Gateway Organisation Ltd is a residential  service for children/young people and adults based in the West of Ireland. Our work focuses on providing high-quality and effective care to children and young people who are in need of a social care placement and have experienced attachment and emotional difficulties.

The role will ensure a comprehensive assessment, therapeutic intervention and outcomes identification and evaluation for the service users in our care.  Will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with, but also supporting the residential care teams and management.

Requirement:

  • The successful candidate will hold a post-graduate professional qualification in clinical, educational or forensic psychology, recognised by the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) or the British Psychological Society (BPS);
  • Have a minimum of three-years post-graduate experience in working with children and young people and their families;
  • Demonstrated experience and skill working with children and adolescents with developmental, behavioural, learning, relational, attachment, and emotional difficulties;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage own case load effectively and experience in providing professional consultations an advantage.
